Well, just popped in here to report that I am doing better since Saturday. I had been dealing with severe shoulder blade pain since my fusion but Saturday afternoon which would be 8 days after my surgery I actually felt like i turned a corner for the better. I go back on the 18th for my first post visit to the neurosurgeon and will report what he has to tell me. Another thing, he prescribed soma muscle relaxer and percocet when I left the hospital and the soma seems MUCH too strong for me so have been taking only half of a 350 mg table every 6 hrs or so, it seems to really help. It seems it has helped me more than the painkillers- go figure.

I'm glad to hear you're doing so well. Hopefully all will be good at your doctor appointment. You really seem to be recovering quickly. I'm glad the soma helps you so much. I hope you continue to feel better and stronger every day. Take care,
