I have had two C-spine surgeries and now I am having alot of pain in my neck area again. My first surgery was in 99 and again 2001. Both arms the little finger and next one to it.. are always falling asleep on me. Like a pinched nerve. I have so much neck and middle back pain now.. I don't know what to do! I guess I would like to get to know others that have gone through similar pain and surgery. So I have someone to talk to.

  • Hi Chery,

First let me say welcome to spine-health. You definitely have found the right place for people dealing with neck issues. You will find many who have or whom are going through the same things as yourself.

You say you have had two surgeries? What surgeries did you have and at what levels. The pain you are having now is that new pain that has come up since your surgery or was it always there following surgery? You may want to look in the video section at cervical radiculopathy and see if the pain you are having matches in of those levels? Have you had any recent testing done lately such as, Mri's, ct scans or emg study? What type of medications do you take to control the pain? Are you in any type of treatments now for the pain and if so what are they?

I am a fellow cervical patient with multiple surgeries behind me as well. I have currently have a three level fusion with the need of more but am holding out. Anyway I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to spine-health and if I can be of any help don't hesitate to pm me. Take care and look forward to reading more of your post.
