Hello, I'm new,
Early Jan 2009 I slipped x2 discs (L4&L5) although I didn't get MRI until June 2009!(due to my age and Doc not taking me seriously) Had Steriod Cortisone injection Aug 2009. Still in a lot of pain and sick of people saying as its been a year now I should be better! Is it normal to still be in so much pain a year on? Even my boss has doubts when I have a day off!, I'm positive he doesn't believe me as I will have a good spell and people say 'your walking so much better is that your back better now?' then all of a sudden I'm really bad again and im SO paranoid they dont believe me .
I take Tramadol/Codine Phospate plus usual Paracetamol/Ibroprufen everyday but still have a lot of pain in back & leg. I have started light Pilates but I take one step forward and 10 steps back - what else can I do? Some people are so ignorant to people with bad backs - I am so stressed out with all this, which I dont think helps my back?
