Multiple Posting

I think this is a good time to point out a situation we are seeing more of lately.

That is multiple posting. Not the same as duplicate posting.
But what happens and the impacts are the same. When someone has a message they want to get across, some people believe if they make a post in multiple categories they will get better exposure and responses.

Its the opposite. With duplicate posting, we try to close out the one post. With multiple posting, we dont generally
do any editing.

BUT, by making the multiple post, you then reduce the number of synchronize responses. People will post to one thread or another one. That alone changes what information will be funneled.
