can anyone relate and what it might be

  • Without any details of you, it is hard to give you the answer or possible thoughts of what is causing this.

    1. Did you have recent surgery? What kind and if so, did you have hardware put in?

    2. Are you on new medications?

    3. Have you changed your diet to foods you don't normally eat?

    See, with just
can anyone relate and what it might be
we can't even guess. Can you give more info - especially medications or other changes? None of us are doctors, but have had swelling issues and might be able to give some insight.

By the way, if any of this swelling gets into your neck/throat/face or you have problem breathing, you need to get to an ER or call 911. Take care.

  • Well as Brenda said, are you on any meds?
There is/are a handful of different commonly prescribed meds for chronic pain patients that can cause this swelling.

If, you are on any meds, please call you doctor asap so you can figure out which med it is and see if there is something that you can be switched to. Often there is a med that is a brother/sister of the offending med that will not cause the same side effects.
  • What Wrambler said. I get this periodically due to Lyrica.
