  • Lynette welcome to the other side~ Now your journey of healing, recovery and regaining the ability to do all the activities you have missed, pain free!

I am sooo happy for your smoth recovery! Congrats! Sounds like you will be ready to go home soon!

    Happy healing! Shari

  • Great to hear from you again. It sounds like you are doing really well. It must be great to have all the tubes taken out.

I hope that your recovery continues so well, and that you will be able to go home very soon.
  • I'm glad to here the surgery is over and you're getting great care at the hospital. I hope you get to go home soon - resting there is so much easier than at the hospital.

I know you're feeling pretty good, but be prepared for some painful days, just in case. If you're feeling good, it's hard not to overdo it when you get home. So be sure to take care of yourself.

  • Hey lynette glad all is well with you now is the recovery time happy that you got the surgery done and get the rest you need and hope all is well when you get home. Keep us udated on your progress.

  • Hi Lynette,
I hope you continue to heal well you will be in my prayers. Did you go to doc in NYC you were talking about or are you local? If you are local I would like to stop by and see you if you don't mind. Send me PM and let me know.

    I'm scheduled for PLIF L4-S1 4/19/2010.

Sorry I didn't get back to you in time so you could come see me in hospital with my spinal headache. I was at hospital in Johnson City and that's where my surgery will be as far I as I know.

Take care and get plenty of rest and don't overdo it. Keep me in touch. Do you have a facebook? Can't remember if I already asked you.
  • Good to hear from you so soon and that you're out of bed and walking a little.

Take care and rest as much as you can.

  • Wow! 360 fusion and a horrible storm!! So glad to hear you made it safely. Praying that the transition from hospital to home is an easy one, if not, I promise it gets easier!

Rest and try to stay ahead of your pain! Hopefully, you feel up to eating and can enjoy some comfort food!

Keeping you in my prayers! Shari
  • Hi Lynette

What an awful journey home but good that you're now resting in your own bed again. Keep taking it easy and looking forward to hearing how you're going.

  • Hi Lynette,

Glad to hear you are home and well. Wow I can't imagine that drive home. Mine was only about 35minutes and I was moaning and groaning.
You are in my prayers. FYI to everyone I ordered a thing called a bottom buddy. lol...you use it with wet wipes. Best invention in the world for hard to reach places when you cannot bend forward. :)

  • Along with lots of other items recommended here to help me post-surgery, I have my bottom buddy at the ready! :S
  • Hi Lynette,

I was just thinking about you and wondering how you were doing? Are you recovering well?
  • Lynette,
hello, Glad to hear you are doing well. Wondering what situation you had prior to surgery that prompted the 360 fusion. I am also wondering where you had it done as I am in Va and am finding limited locations that are doing this but I think this is what I need. Thank you in advance. Please private message me if posting anything like where it was done is not okay on the boards, I don't know the rules on that. Thanks! Jane
