Is SCS for Cervical Neck pain?

Ok so I am trying to figure out how I can go back to work with all the pain. The pain meds dont help much at all. I take Darvocet and Flexeril.

I borrowed a TENS unit temporarily prior to my last ACDF and it helped me deal with the pain somewhat while working. I also get E-stem at PT which helps at least while I am using it. I plan on asking the dr about getting my own TENS unit at my appointment in a couple weeks.

I was thinking since the TENS unit helps if I could be a candidate for a SCS in the future? My pain is most likely still from C4-C5 area where I have spinal cord damage from the compression prior to the last surgery. Nothing I am reading on medtronics site specifically states its for cervical spine pain. Im just thinking about future options for my pain. Im not sure I even like the idea of something else foreign in my body. I just want to pain to stop so I can get my life back.
