Suboxone Treatment

:?? Hello Everyone, I have a question. Has anyone ever been on Suboxone for chronic pain? I was in Pain Mgt. for 6 years when I developed a very high tolerance to opiods. They offered no further relief for my Fibro or low back and hip pain. I did a detox from Fentanyl 100mcg. and then started the Sub 8mg/2mg. Well...after 1 year I now am experiencing breakthrough pain. I was told to get in touch with Pain Mgt. again. Problem is I am no longer in the state I was in and have to find a new doctor. I am currently in Virginia which appears to be very negative for meds. Thinking of going back to my home town in WI. Does anyone know how Va or Wi is for Pain Mgt.? Also...any similiar experince's with the Suboxone problem? Thanks for your time. Take care all.

  • Check out yahoo or google search for pain management clinics or Pain Coalition in your area. It led me to 3 pain clinics where I live. I think you can call your Insurance and get a list of Pain Management Doctors also.
As for Suboxone type in a search in the blue box above for other posts. Take care. Charry

  • I recently found this website to help you find suboxone prescribers in your area (that use it only for opiod DEPENDENCE, which, much like myself, sounds like what you have/had been dealing with). I have not yet started suboxone (though I am on MUCH higher doeses of Fentanyl than you were), but am hoping/planning to try it soon; The site below has been very helpful in finding suboxone prescribing docs in my area (that use it for opiod dependence rather than addiction, as I feel that is a different problem and requires a different program/plan):
