Hi all, I had my appt with my ns this past Monday, he basically told me I need surgery to open up my facet joint where the bone spurs are I guess at level 5 that is pinching my c6 nerve and making my thumb numb, pain down my arm , bad shoulder pain and neck pain of course. He wants to do a facet injection with his pain management guy first. Thats good I want to try it and see if it helps. The nerve I have pinching of course is in my right arn, the one I use everyday, also I clean for a living, I have done all the pt,take valium and darvocets, pain meds dont help much, it gets me through the day a little. He wants to do an anterior approach, anyone have any advice for the foraminal stenosis, and what I have mentioned above? Thanks Lela
