I am 5 weeks post surgery I have had a Diam Interspinous Spacer placed in between my L4/5. My leg pain seemed to get better for a couple of weeks but now I am in worse pain then before and I still have a lot of soreness around the wound it feels like I can feel the spacer when I lie flat but there is no visible swelling or redness. I would be really interested to hear from anyone one else who has had a Diam or other spacer to see how they felt post op etc, plus Im not really clear on post physio as I have been told to do basic stretching from 4 weeks and build from there.

I am going back to see my consultant this week
