thank you to everyone for their kind words of encouragement.jellyhall have you tried some neosporian for your incision. you have been through enough, without having to deal with an infection. Best of luck to you and everyone else.

    I'm in the UK so maybe we don't have it here.
    I have started to use Manuka honey in my drinks and on my toast in the hope that it might help. :-) (it is supposed to help fight infections including MRSA)
  • neosporian is a medical salve that u put on open wounds. very popular here in the states. can buy at any medical supply store where they sell bandages and cremes.

  • It's more commonly known as a triple antibiotic cream that contains neomycin sulfate, polymycin B & baciatracin zine. It can be bought OTC in the US and easily available in a generic or store brand, Neosporin is Johnson & Johnson's name for their version of this product.
