I do but I still want to ask. Surgery was almost 3 months ago for microD on t1/t2. Had a complication that the t2 pedicle fractured causing strain on the first rib and around to my collar bone. But thats just been occasionally achy.

Yesterday I started to feel pain over the top of my incision right at the base of my neck. It also goes to the left a little which is the opposite of where he worked. The collar bone seems more achy than normal.

So I know the right answer is to call the doctor but I feel silly. I'm guessing that either I did alittle too much this weekend or that the inside is healing. Any thoughts?

  • Why don't you just wait a couple days to see what happens? Your doctor won't really be able to say anything at this point. If the pain subsides, you'll know that you just stressed some muscles that haven't been used in awhile. If it has gotten worse, then you'll have something more specific to tell your surgeon.
