I don't remember seeing a post on this specifically, just random responses that mentioned things about it.

What kind of IPG do you have?
Do you have percutaneous leads or paddles?
Where are they?
And just out of curiosity, how big are your scars from the surgery?

I'm getting a Medtronic, with paddles at T7 and T8.

  • ANS - percutaneous - start at T10 - scars are about 3", have two of them
  • What kind of IPG do you have? Boston Scientific
Do you have percutaneous leads or paddles? Paddles
    Where are they? cervical area
And just out of curiosity, how big are your scars from the surgery? I have 3 scars with the main 2 (hip and upper back/neck) about 3 inches. There is a smaller scar midway up my torso where they had to come out and go back in with the wire.

Good luck to you later this week!

  • What kind of IPG do you have?
    Medtronic Restore Ultra

Do you have percutaneous leads or paddles?
    2 Percutaneous Leads

    Where are they?
    Right: T11/T12 Left: T12/L1

And just out of curiosity, how big are your scars from the surgery?
Around 4 inches in the lumbar region and the IPG is also about 3 inches near the left hip just above my belt line.

  • What kind of IPG do you have?ANS Eon Mini
Do you have percutaneous leads or paddles? Both
Where are they?T8 and Pelvic area
    And just out of curiosity, how big are your scars from the surgery?1.Pelvic 3" 2. Back 3" 3.Tailbone 2" 4.IPG 3" 5.hip 1"

I know a lot of cutting but the top back one wouldn't allow them to get where they needed so they went to the bottom of the tailbone and the pelvic leads wouldn't tunnel correctly. Just the way life is.
  • ANS Eon Mini

    I have 2 leads at the T7
My scars are about 3 inches in back and about 4 inches on left hip.

I have had mine less than a week and LOVE it!
  • My pocket incision is about 3 inches, and I think the one between my shoulder blades is about the same, but I haven't learned to turn my head around far enough to see yet.
