Hey guys I don't really feel like typing my whole story again so if you haven't read it an would like to you can look at my old posts.
Anyway, next week I am going to the Cleveland Clinic for my back...I'm not even sure what kind of doctor. I have been working with my family doctor (whom I've had since I was born) on the next steps of my journey. He is the only doctor that really understands and believes me about any of this so he is willing to try anything. He decided to send me to a doctor in Cleveland that specializes in back pain of young people. Not kids, not old people, just teenagers and 20 year olds. This is great because he will know that I'm not faking it because he is used to working with people my age.
So my question is...Has anyone ever been to the Cleveland Clinic for their pain? How is it? Would you recommend it to others? Obviously every doctor is different but I'm just wondering what your general thoughts were about the place.
I've mostly been seen at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and I hate that place. Has anyone else been there? It is a teaching hospital so there are always med students working on you. The doctors are always in a hurry and never really listen to me. Has anyone else had this experience there? I would be glad to never go back to that place again, unfortunately I live about 2 seconds from it so that is where I usually have to go.
Ok sorry if this post is all rambling, my pain killers make me feel really euphoric and I tend to ramble on and on.
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated
