Leg Pain after Injection

Laurie AnnLLaurie Ann Posts: 47
I am wondering if anyone had injections for bursitis that got worse and kept bursitis around? I have had non stop hi pain since getting the injections in March!

  • I had a hip injection 3 weeks ago and I haven't had pain afterwards. What did your PM Dr. say it was caused by? I've been to 3 Pain Management Drs and the 3rd one is the charm in my case and the best at giving injections. Sometimes they do diagnostic injections to see where the pain is coming from so not sure if you had something like that?

If it was a steroid injection it may take a few weeks to work like mine did. I've had steroid injections given for the bursitis in my shoulder and it didn't help. I have DDD also in my lower back and getting different injections like in the S1 area and hip due to the sciatic nerve that is irritated so think she's finding out where the pain source is. I hope your PM Dr. can help. Take care. Charry
