OK I had to share this one. I called my parents to wish my dad a happy father's day. My mother is telling me how her upper back hurts so much today. So I'm trying to think what could have caused this. Think..think...think...

Then she tells me how she's been playing pool for 3 hours a day!! They live in Sun City West where they have recreation centers. My dad goes to the model train club and drops my mom off in the bowling and pool building. She learned to play as a child from her father who was a semi-pro player. The problem is that my father leaves her there for up to 3 hours at a time.

So now I have to limit the time my mother plays pool!!!

  • Maybe some people don't see pool as being a sport or a good workout but it's a good way to build your endurance and get fit.
While winter is here my Father who's 75 can't play golf he's at the bar playing pool. Well as long as they're having fun.. Charry
