does Decompression Therapy work for DDD

understand what Degenerative Disc Disease is. It is probably the most misunderstand spinal problem. The words degenerative and disease make is sound worse than it really can be.

Here are some detailed articles from Spine-Health that go into details about DDD:

    What is DDD?

    DDD Treatments

For many DDD sufferers an approved exercise program and NSAIDs will keep it in check. Its rarer that the more severe cases of DDD require surgical intervention.

Spinal decompression sometimes is a fancy word to describe Spinal Traction. Can traction help with DDD cases? I am not sure about that, only because each case is unique to the individual, so while traction may help one person, it will provide little relief for another.

What has your doctor recommended for a course of action?
