My husband had a spinal injection 4 days ago. since that time he has experienced extreme aggitation. Could this possibly be a side effect of the injection?

  • Steroids do have side effects. This could be a result of his injection. I would confer with his doctor.

    Best wishes,

  • I see we are both new to the board!

I have had many steroid injections and I think it is safe to say that different people react differently. Also, you don't always have a similar reaction each time you have an injection.

I would mention it to the doctor so he is aware of it in case your husband has additional treatments. If he is having what you consider an extreme reaction that is not going away, it might make sense to call the doctor first thing tomorrow to discuss it with him or his staff.
