Any Advice about SSDI?

Hello, Does anybody have any tips for winning ssdi? My surgeon urged me to file for it and I just received a letter telling me I am "NOT" dissabled enough to receive ssdi at this point. I would love to work but cant and I have a really good neuro-surgon telling me that without a answered prayer I never will work again. What would be a good "next step"? I suppose that being 33yrs old makes them not want to grant me payment or somthing. Heck, my surgeon said that he would appear if I appeal.
2 low back fusions. 1 neck fusion. Lots of therapy, injections, and so on.
