When I left the hospital, I left with a walker. On my 2nd visit to the dr.(I was squeezed due to severe leg pain) anyway, I asked him when I could get rid of the walker. He said whenever I felt I didn't need it anymore. OK?????? SOOOO.....I guess I will just KNOW? At what stage in your recovery did you stop using your walkers? I had surgery June 9th of this year. I am starting to walk around the house without it. Is your back supposed to hurt while not using it? Does that mean it is too soon to get rid of it? I don't want to mess anything up. When I go outside, I still use it. I haven't been going outside though. It is 103 here today. No thanks. I'll walk around inside. So when did you all get rid of your walkers.
Since I am posting...I would like to ask another question. If I messed up the surgery in any way, would I be in really really bad pain? Like if a screw moved or the bone moved? Would I know it for sure? Do you kind of know what I am asking :?? I am still in pain. I am hoping its from the surgery. My incision hurts alot. I know I sit way too much. I can only lie in bed for so long before I start going nuts. ~X( 8}
I wish everyone a pain free day. >:D< >:D< >:D<
