First of all let me start by saying sorry about the last posting. Having a tough time not only from the healing, but from my time in the service. I am getting help from the VA. I served in the Marines for 6 years and fought for all of us to be safe and for our freedom. I've been shot, hit by shrapnel, stabbed a few times, so to me the back surgery is a minor obstacle for me. It doesn't help, but I want you all to know that we are all hurting, but their are people hurting a lot more. I am a very easy going person who would help anyone in need. I have a loving wife and a daughter who mean the world to me. Just wanted to vent. Thanks Kevin

  • need to vent from time to time Kevin. Glad you have a close family to stick by you. Man - shot, stabbed, hit by shrapnel -- I can't even imagine. Thanks for risking yourself for all of us.

Pain varies by degrees and situations. I just had a rotator cuff surgery on July 8. Compared to a 3-level spinal fusion? Piece o'cake! Doc says I can quit physical therapy if I want. I've already rehabilitated myself. I'm more than used to pain now.

    3 level spinal fusion, L3/4, L4/5, L5/S1, November 2008. Stiff, but I can walk.

to and for everyone in the U.S.A. I've not been on the forums much latley because of my moms cancer. And don't know about your last posting. Being a chronic back pain sufferer with 6 surgeries. We do need to vent. Back pain for most of us is something that just won't go away. And can take total control of our lives from time to time. The pain from it is a different kind of animal. So if you need to vent, then vent away.
Thanks again for you service, Jim
