Hi everyone went for my one year CAT SCAN! It showed that I'm not fully fused but almost! I also have a screw that is loose.I know LOL..a loose screw!!:0)

Was wondering did anyone else take longer than a year to fuse? What about loose hardware?? I'm in so much pain. I know they can't do anything about the loose screw until I fuse totally. Hoping when I fused the screw will tighten itself..

  • Congrats on your 1 year!!! I took a year for fusion to show 'stronger', so yeah, it happens. As for hardware, not sure what to tell you there. I have a crack and as such my hardware 'moves' and has messed up my vocal cords since 6 months post op! Surgeon still hoping for the crack to fuse on its own.

Thanks for sharing a great 1 year report Maria! *HUGZ*
