severe bruising caused by itching...

this has happened various times, but i am getting concerned and wondering if anyone had any info as to what may be causing this.

the other day, the tops of my legs, the thigh areas were very itchy. i scratched them, and later in the day i noticed that my entire tops of my thighs are completely bruised.

does anyone know what could cause this?

  • I'd call your doctor. Lots of meds can make you itchy. And some will make you prone to bruising. There are also medical conditions that can make you bruise easily. If I grab my sisters arm she will bruise within minutes.

CHeck with your doctor about both things.
