I had a spinal fusion of L4/L5/S1 in mid June 2010. I would like to know if it is safe to go onto electrotherapy weight loss pads with the screws and rods in my spine?

  • Ask your surgeon. He is the only one who can answewr this question for you. Don't just the people doing the electrotherapy because they have an vested interest is saying it is safe. When in doubt the answer is 'don't do it'. God knows, you don't want to do anything to damage what you just had done.
