  • If you read the previous posts, you'll learn a lot about our experiences. I'm a bit older than you and had mine implanted last November at the age of 47. It has been somewhat helpful in controlling some of my cervical pain.
If you have some specific questions, I'm sure there are many who might jump in and answer. Perhaps you could give us your specific diagnosis.
  • Welcome to Spine Health. As honeysmom pointed out, there is a really good collection of threads, posts and Frequently Asked Question lists here. You probably have more questions than you know and the best way to find out what those are, is to read through what others have asked. I am also in the 40+ group and have had my cervical SCS since May of 2008. It helps me tremendously with pain and muscle spasticity.

Have you gone through a trial yet? If so how did it go? Did you have a specific injury or surgery that has left you with this pain?

Anyway, welcome and I hope that you find Spine Health to be not only informative, but supportive to you.
