Hello everyone. I'm sure this very problem has been discussed here somewhere . . . but I am new to the site and overwhelmed with new information!
For YEARS I have had pain in my right leg, mostly the upper and inner portion of my thigh. However, it does occur in my hip area and outer thigh as well. It's generally a sensation of inflammation and heaviness, which worsens after a workout, or if I sit too long. General activity doesn't seem to make it any better or worse. The leg also seems to be larger than my left, all the way down to my calf, which makes wearing jeans and other fitted clothes very uncomfortable at times. I also have pain in the right hip area, but it's not nearly as bothersome as the inflammation in my leg.
I've seen doctors about it years ago, all with varying results - or none at all. I had an MRI which showed nothing. I currently see a chiropractor, thinking maybe my hips are misaligned. But I just started going, so it may take time to see/feel any results.
If this sounds at all familiar to ANYONE, I would greatly appreciate and insight and input. Thank you SO MUCH for reading this!!
