I found out yesterday I will have to do an add on fusion. My L-4 has collapsed (now bone on bone)after having L5-S1 fused in 2006. He scared me pretty good- more risk, more painful surgery and no gaurantees.Anyone have good outcome. I really have never been out of pain since last time- but I truly believe it was the BMP.I want a somewhat normal life back. Also, if anyone can send private message about great lumbar surgeons in the southeast-much appreciated.
