I was denied work pension so far and have to go for an IME. What bothers me is why would I make up my pain? My first MRI didn't show Degenerative disc disease yet my second one did. DDD shows up about a year after back injury which showed on my second MRI. Why would I want to live on half pay from a good paying job? I loved my job this is awful and I was wondering if I should go for the exam not taking my meds as I'm not allowed to work taking any narcotic meds or muscle relaxants?
I wish I could get a lie detector test also. Little games the Insurance company played with me by sending a letter denying me of insurance and then the next week allowing them. I'm using my work Union full force and the Union has contacted labor relations. As if us who suffer chronic pain with even a legit test like a EMG/Nerve test showing L4-L5 nerve compression that they would even think to add this extra stress of denying me benefits. It's a big game to them playing chess with your life and finances when I paid into my benefits. I'm just venting here as what I'm going through. Chronic pain isn't easy and not only deal with the stress of physical pain but with finances as well. It's not easy. I have to have my IME soon and will let you know how it goes. Charry
