Since 2004 I've tried just about every nerve drug on the market with horrible side effects that prevented me from taking any of the except cymbalta. Which had side effects that in the beginning I could force myself to deal with. Until the side effects that seem to manifest after time. And I eventually had to quit that too.
I'm known as the "backward med guy" and most meds of any kind work different on me than other people.
My brother, also a spinney, has gone through the same. But recently his Dr. had him try Lyrica. And at first the side effects were too much to bear. But when he cut the dose down to come off of it. He found that a lower dose worked for him with no side effects. So I thought I would try it too. My P.M. Dr. gave me a prescription. But fear from other intolerable side effects from all of the other failures has kept me from starting to take it.
I would like to get some input from members as to good, bad, or ugly results with lyrica. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.
