I'm a 38 yr old former smoker who now has point tenderness on T3-4 with pain that radiates down my back. Xray showed osteophyte on thoracic spine and lucencies on my lumbar spine. I am worried I have cancer. does any one else have similar symptoms. I have no other symptoms besides fatigue and loss of appetite.

  • Oh "S" I am so sorry to hear this!! I have T-Spine problems that have been making me feel like I am going to toss my cookies....

Welcome to Spine-Health by the way!!
  • Welcome to Spine Health! Not sure why you're jumping to cancer? 48 year old female smoker here. I have DDD, arthrosis throughout my thoracic, and osteophytes (bone spurs) at the T8/9 level. More of my pain radiates around my chest. Are they going to send you for testing for cancer? Fingers crossed for you. Again, Welcome Aboard!!
