I am at my witts end.i am tired of being in pain . :S

  • Hi Rosebud

I am sorry you have & are going through so much.

I hope you find this site as helpful & supportive as I have.

Does your Dr. understand you are still hurting a lot? Do you get any pain relief?
L1 - S2 "gone" useless in 1 way or another. DDD. RA. Bone Spurs. Tons of nerve damage/issues. Stenosis. Both knees replaced. 50 yrs old. I had a great fall (hence my user name) at age 41 and it has been a domino effect every since.
  • Hello Rosebud and welcome.

I do feel for you as will eveyone on this site. Tired is definately one of the descriptions of what constant pain does to you.

Ms Humptydumpty makes a good point. Your Dr needs to understand the level of pain you are in and perhaps by changing you medication he can give you more relief. It's worth talking to him about. Don't be brave when you see him.....he needs to realise the effect this having on you both physicall and mentally.

I know they have said nothing can be done ( said the same to me) but it is worth researching your condition and seeing what possible treatments might be available. This comes with a warning.....it can scare the hell out of you but remember we are not doctors and can't diagnose ourselves. I feel it is important to know as much as we can about our condition.

I hope you can find some refief soon. Best wishes :)

Yes research, research, research! There are more options available than what you have been given.

  • I like you was in pain for 2 years, mine is lumbar, and went to 7 or 8 different specialists before I went to a Spine Clinic in Mpls and they found I had torn discs. Had surgery, have 2 more and am having surgery Dec 13.
Dont give up, and find someone that can help you,If I would have listened to the first one, I would still be basically non functional. Good Luck
