  • What do your doctors say you have to have done?

We can't help you interpret your MRI (we aren't doctors), but you can look up many of the terms on there in the blue "search" box at the top- click on "articles" to see what doctors have to say about them.

Here is a great article on facet joint disorders, with links to other articles on treatments, etc.

You can also find articles on disk bulge and degenerative disk disease. I hope this helps!
  • My pm doctor isnt sure whats going to happen! your not much help!, jst asking someone to help me with my mri, explain some things to me,i dont have a breakdown. has anyone had this before? what do the doctors do? maybe someone else can help!
  • Hello Sissy and Welcome to Spine-health!!

It is a forum rule that we can NOT give medical advice or try to read into your MRI, I wish we could help you more!!

As HB said do a search for the term and read up on it. Do you have an apt with your ortho or neuro? What did your PM say in regards to what the report says? They should have some kind of clue or maybe they can refer you to a differant Dr.

Again welcome and I am sorry that none of us can help you with this!!
  • welcome to spine health. yes it is frustrating to not know what all this means, but as others have been saying, we are not qualified to be interpreting MRIs. the one thing i can say about what you wrote though is there are a whole whack of "mild"s, a "minimal" and just one "moderate". thank god there aren't words like "severe", "profound", "prominent", etc. i hope this at least brings you some consolation. i wish my mri had a lot more "mild"s in it ...
