Hello everyone! :H
I am writing to get some advice, and explaine what is going on with me. I have been posting here at Spine Health for a long time. I am 31 years old, and mother to 3 children. I have a injury at l5S1, and I have had several procedures to help it. None have worked as of yet. My lastest was a discectomy in June. I actually finally went to my doctor the other day for all of my problems I have been having. We have came to the conclusion that it sounds like I may have fibro.

Let me start with my symptoms: severe tiredness, whole body ache all the time, worse in the morning. I ache all day long though. I have just started noticing that I get a lot of swelling in my hands, and burning in my feet. My legs ache so very bad from toe to top of hips. :T I have balance problems, a lot of dizziness. I have urinary problems, problems with gyno. I have severe depression, and anxiety. Hmmm, did I mention pain, and severe fatigue? ~X( The winters are the worse, though I still have it in the summer.

My doctor doesnt want to diagnose me himself, he is sending me to a doctor that diagnosis this disease. I have to wait for the appt., he did give me meds to start but I am afraid to take them without talking to my doctor that treats my depression/bipolar/anxiety.

I feel like a BIG MESS, I have sooo many things wrong with me all at one time. I am tired of feeling like I do every single day, sometimes I feel like I just can't take it anymore. I just going on, but I would like to see if others are also the same. Thanks for reading! >:D<

  • Heidi hiya >:D< >:D< , I have fibro, your symtems certainly point that way :? , but its wise to wait until you get a diagnosis from your specialist :? . Please let us know the results. Keep smiling :D . Wishing you pain free days O:)

    Angie >:D< :H
  • Thank you Angie, I am feeling so horrible. I hurt everywhere. I hate to take my pain meds for my back (hydro 7.5/500) because all it does is make me feel drunk! I take tramadol but that doesnt seem to be helping me much at all. The worst part is that I want to curl right up in a corner of a hot wrap! My heating pad only goes so far :(
  • heidi..nice to meet you, and I too am a big mess! but have reached the place where I know how I got here wasn't anything I could do about it ..and I accept my new normal. Lots of spiney friends here have helped me get there and I am so greatful for that help. Here at the forum we are all for one...one for all.
Hope you get some firm diagnosis information soon.
