I have an MRI on my lumber and want to post results cuz i havent a clue what it means where do i post?

  • First let me say welcome to spine-health. It would really be unfair for anyone here to speculate as to what your MRI says, that would be best left to the doctors. One here might think it looks bad and give you undo worry over something not to serious or vice verse we could say doesn't look like much and be completely wrong. Keep in mind everyone's MRI after the age of 25 is going to show something, as it is a natural aging process.

More importantly is what are your symptoms that lead them to do an MRI and how do they effect you? What type of treatments have they tried and what kind of doctor is treating you? When do you return to the doctor for the results?

Just thought I would stop by and welcome you to spine-health. Keep us posted on what the doctors tell you. In the meantime you could use the search feature at the top of the page and read some of the articles here dealing with disc protrusions and radicular pain and learn the anatomy of the spine. That way you will be well informed when you return to ask questions.

  • hi and welcome to the forum! :H we are here to offer you support and answer what questions we can.dave gave you some good pointers.. your doctor is the best person to read your MRI.. he knows your back best! good luck and i hope you find pain relief soon! Jenny :)
