  • If you were started on a low dose, you might not have a noticable difference. My doctor started me on a low dose to make sure I didn't have bad side effects (nausea, drowsiness, etc) since I work full time and drive my car a lot for my job. I put it on in the evening and actually slept more comfortably and woke up with less pain the next morning. That would have been 10-11 hours after putting on the patch. My issue was that the low dose (25 mcg/hr) sort of wore off after 48 hours so the 3rd day put me back in bad pain. When I went to the 50 mcg, I continued to change the patch at bedtime and wake up with much less pain the next morning. The 3rd day is still the worst day for me.
I hope by now you can at least tell you have it on and are getting some relief. I have read from others here that the first one didn't really kick in for a day or two so you might need to allow it more time. Good luck to you. Let us know how you're coming along.
  • At first I was on 75 mg to be changed every 72 hrs. It took me to the end of my 2ed patch to notice any difference & not until the 3rd patch to notice a real difference. Hang on - Hopefully relief is on it's way :)
L1 - S2 "gone" useless in 1 way or another. DDD. RA. Bone Spurs. Tons of nerve damage/issues. Stenosis. Both knees replaced. 50 yrs old. I had a great fall (hence my user name) at age 41 and it has been a domino effect every since.
