Anyone do yoga?

We have had several people tell us that yoga would be good for hubby's back. I do simple yoga,( not good at tying myself in knots so I stick to the rudimentary stuff) and I think that a lot of the poses would stress his back. Anyone have any experience and knowledge into what he should and should not do?
