Hi everyone,

I had my 3 level fusion on Dec 3rd 2010 and I'm doing great!! My pain level is at a 2 and I'm almost off the pain meds. I feel very lucky these days. I'm still a bit sore when I walk but nothing compared to what I felt pre-surgery.

I hope all of you are well and I pray for all that your in less pain..

Love to all,

  • I am soo happy for you that you are doing so well! A 2 that is very good after only 5-6 weeks. Are you able to do quite a bit of walking? Must be hard since it is winter.
Will you be starting physio soon?
Wishing you all the best...keep it up, I will be wishing for you, a 0 for pain soon.

I've missed you guys! How are you both keeping? Karen, have you herd anything about your fusion? Brenda, how is your neck?

  • That's fantastic news - pain at a level 2 this early after a 3 level !! Keep doing what you're doing now because it's working.

  • I was so happy to hear how well you are doing (minus what is going on in your other post) Since I found out that I was going to need a fusion (not 3 levels like you) I am so interested in hearing how you are making out after surgery. You are a true insperation to me, that you are doing so well! Please keep up the great work, whatever you are doing is working.Feel free to share any tips for success with us ;)
I did hear back from my nuerosurgeon and will be going in to meet with them in March. It is still a ways off, but it is giving me a date to look forward to.After your consultation for your fusion, how long after that were you in surgery?
