I had my 6 week post op on Friday. The Doc said all was going great and could see new bone forming so I was happy with that. I am having some bad cramping and pain in my stomache so I go Tuesday for a CT scan. I hope that it is still post surgery pain but I have to find out for sure. The Doc said to continue to increase activity so I will be going out to the shop to start a little cleanup in the next several days. I hope what the doc said and the way I interpret it is that I can start to do some of my regular activities like my wood working. I know I am not going to be able to pick up the furnature I build yet but I do plan on doing some small building again like nick nack stuff. We will see how it goes. Hope everyone is getting along good.

  • So happy for you Mark on the bone growth - I admit to being a little disappointed that I didn't have any sign of any bone growth yet, but I know it is early. I will send up some good thoughts that your stomach problems are not anything serious! Enjoy your time in the shop and don't forget to take it easy.

  • Great news. Keep up the good work. Make sure you dont do too much! Enjoy your shop time, but make sure to rest also. You are still very early in recovery! Hugs, Robin
  • Thanks for the positive comments. Will post when I get more results.

  • I hope everything's alright with your CT abd. and hope you heal completely. Can you post a pic of your woodwork? Take care. Charry
