I have another thread on here on how my pro disc pops and clicks. My surgeon found out the acceptable 4° of extra motion is NOT allowable in my body. Words of my surgeon "...as usual Mr Mar**** you are the exception to every rule".

The fact of the matter is anytime they try something I'm in the 10% that gets worse or fails.

He noted, the way my spine is built that the 4° is actually too much extra motion and is causing the spinous process' to click on the surrounding process' and tissue.

SO now the deal is my surgeon believes that a spinous process fixation device at the pro-disc level will do something similar to a 60% fusion and it's reversible. here is a pic

  • oh the question is... Any thoughts? I'm in so much pain. 29 year old male and all this started when i was 22. I can't even hold my baby girl. I hate drugs due to addiction so I'm on as little as i can take

    3 vicodin 5's per 24hr period maybe 1 motrin.

Should i do this surgery? Anyone have any experiences AFTER a failed prosthetic disc?

    Thank you all again
