had a 2nd opinion today, which Im glad i did, as it stands now I will be having lumbar fusion on 3-2-11, at L3-S1. anybody give me some input on recovery time/pain? Ive had a cervical fusion at C4-C7 but from what i hear lumbar recovery is somewhat different from cervical. first Dr. only wanted to do fusion @ L3-L4 and do nothing about collapsed disc @ L5-S1. the way i look at it is, if your in there FIX IT ALL. Thanx for your time..................
