  • i have had various spinal injections .facet joint /epidural etc .and to be honest with you they did no good .but like anyone if you think that something can help your back pain you will give it a go.spinal stenosis is very painful.you could try the acticare unit see www.acticare.com for more info
    1997 laminectomy
    2007 repeat laminectomy and discectomy L4/L5
    2011 ALIF {L4/L5/S1}
    2012 ? bowel problems .still under investigation

  • I am guessing it depends on your issues as well. Mine, as I said, is only at one level and only minor to moderate pain. I know I had nerve blocks in the past that worked for a couple months at a time. Not sure if that is the same thing. If I may ask Backache, what are your issues?

    I have a herniation and rupture at L4-L5 .... No surgery yet but the ESI I had done has done wonders for at least 4 weeks now .... Getting a second to my neck tomorrow it is post surgical and the first only lasted 4 days ..... its a dice through but worth it .... we need to go to any lengths .... try every option .... fall down every mountain (ha ha) IMHO
