  • I just found this message.
I do hope that whatever got you into hospital is being dealt with and perhaps you are home again now.

Please do let us know how you are when you can.
You have lots of friends here who care about you. >:D<

    I'll say a prayer for you. :-)
  • I hope that you leave ahead and that it is not complicated after the surgery. I only suggest that you follow the advice of the doctor for the treatment of pain.

  • I'm still thinking of you and hoping that you are doing ok.
    >:D< >:D< >:D<
  • Thanks so much to everyone for their kind words and prayers..

They programmed the thoraic SCS, the one that was infected, last Thursday..At the moment its on the lowest setting as whilst I spent 2 weeks in the hospital recently I also had to undergo another 4 and a half surgery on "Womens "Business.

So you can imagine I have a terrbily sore stomach from the operation and a sore back from it too.

Life can ony get better from here as its it rock bottom over the past weeks.

Your never ending support is such a comfort to me knowing I have soo many people that understand the pain we go thru.

  • Wonderful to hear from you mate. I have been worried to death.

You are right....things can only get better from here on. I do hope your Doctor is taking good care of you. Rest, recoup and write when you are able. My prayers are with you.

Sending a gentle hug coz you need it. >:D<

  • Dear Shelly, I've been wondering what put you in the hospital for two weeks but have been trying to wait patienty until you were able to get online again. Didn't know your thoracic SCS site had become infected or that you required "female" surgery. Am hoping and praying you're on the mend now and having pain relief from your SCS now. Sending HUGS!

  • You are such an amazing woman to be going through all this and coming on the board to keep us posted. Bless you my friend. You are in my thoughts so much of the time...
  • I meant to mention that also at my Specialist visit he told me the pain in my right outer thigh is actually "Bursitis"..He says its a sac of fluid that forms between the bone and the muscle...Sometimes they can be fixed by steriod injections but this hasnt work as whilst I was in hospital we tried this 3 times..

Im having an Ultrasound done on Tuesday so they can see what they are dealing with and how to treat it..

I truly have had enough of being knocked down and haveing to try and struggle to get up...Im so lucky I have my beautiful fiancee, Cameron, to look after me and my true friends on this sight to listen to me as I would be lost without you.

    When will it all end????
  • I do not think it ever ends Shelly. Not for me anyway. I now have a pinched nerve in my right thigh and my bad knee has given out! It's now bone on bone. Yikes. Both cause me a LOT of added pain that my pump does not take care of.

Keep the chin up girl! We can't give up or we would be lost. Have you thought of a pinched nerve in your thigh? Mine hurts me from my hip to my knee on the outside of my right thigh. It burns like the devil when I lay down. Not as bad when I am on my feet but still painfull. Even my clothing brushing against it hurts!

Keeping you in my thoughts. I do hope you get relief soon.
