I'm 7 days post op from L5-S1 diskectomy/laminectomy and was recovering pretty good but sufferd a set back today. My wife is pregnant and has the flu so we we're at the hospital for her and I need a snack so I hobbeld down to the vending machine and got about half way there when I took a step and it felt like i stuck my foot in a light socket. I had sciatica before the surgery but I have never had it this bad in the last 6+ years since I first got hurt, Any Ideas, I went down to the ER since I was already at the hopital and waited 3 hours without being seen, I gave up and went back to the L & D floor so I could be with my wife. Took some meds, wish me luck!
