I went back to work on Wednesday the 23rd. According to my doctor I am completely fused.

  • Congrats, on being back to work. You must have some powerful stuff in your bones to fuse that fast. I have to say that is the quickest I have ever seen anyone fuse. Congrats on being pain free back at work and having your old life back, or new one minus the pain.
  • I hope work is going well for you and great to hear about being completely fused. Keep us posted how you're doing. Take care. Charry

  • Hi Diane

That's wonderful news!! I'm not when I was fused, but it was under 6 months.

It then took another 6-7 months for the fusion to feel really strong, so do have a care with physical activities.

  • Congratulations on your fusion. It is so good to hear this kind of news.
  • Work has been going good. I do take frequent breaks and am being carefull. Worked 3 days this past week. Guess I'll see how it goes next week when I work 5 days.
  • Diane - how are you feeling - any more symptoms. I am almost 5 months post-op and fusion they say was starting at 3 month mark - still issues I think are mainly muscle but never really a day where I am painfree and just wondering - did you ever get there?
Thanks for sharing your great news!
