New Pain

I had my spinal fusion ( see details below ) on the 1st march '11
I have since yesterday i have been getting quite bad stabbing sharp pains in my left buttock and down my leg when i sit or walk ...its getting to the stage now that the meds im on are not working..and i might have to revert back to the oxydorm i was on after the operation...
Im not sure what im wanting whether its advice or anyone had simular pain...just thought i needed to say something to people who are in the same boat as me ..as no one here understands
