just to let everyone know i saw a dr yesterday and i have arterial problems which are not serious. the leg is still swollen but no heart problems, had ekg. the skin flakes off because it is dying. they were going to put me on diaretics but i have had problems with gout, so they put a wrap on leg with zinc oxide to help wiht swelling and to cure the sores. i will have it taken off on wednesday of next week. we will see what happens after that. hopefully it works, if not i might need to get someting else done
I have 4 fusions from L5-3, the latest last May '12 where they fixed my disc that broke. They went through my side this time. I take 40 mg of oxycontin 4x a day and 4 fenatyl lollipops 300 micro gms 4x a day.

  • I see. Now I think I understand you a little better jon. You seem like the type that makes light of situations instead of getting all worked up (forgive me if I am out of line, I seem to be doing that a lot lately). I'm glad that you had that looked at and I really hope this wrap is all it takes to bring the swelling down & cure the sores. Are you going to have to be off work with that to elevate..I would think so. My mom use to have those type of issues, and I always watch for them in myself-so far I have been lucky.
