sciatica damage

I get to have a EMG! I don't know why I have to go through all these tests...and they are sooo costly as well...I already know the reason I can't walk is due to a damaged sciatica from a surgery gone bad...in my small town, it feels like all the docs are protecting each other hence i'm the one suffering...I think my next move will be out of town so I can get my real diagnosis and get on with my life...anyone else feel this way? I'm not as mad about the damage as I am the buddy system! I just want one doc who will get me through it...looks like it's a rest of my life journey...got my wheelchair, now gimmie my meds and disability and lemmie live...geeze...hopeless in Ga...Suzie

  • ya i have gone hundreds of miles away for second third forth opinion 3rd doc is very human (realistic) not conceded or pushy at all but straight forward.
i feel like i have seen so many that have the same lines (like used car salesmen )same pitch.
the only one that did not cover for the first surgeon was a Nero surgeon . he thinks all but one of the ortho surg are wrong that want to do a 1 or 2 level fusion.
  • If you access and afford the best, it's well worth it...like night and day!!...I feel for you
  • I can use all the advise I can get...I'm sooo tired! Headed to Atlanta soon...maybe I can get the show on the road then! hugs and blessings, Suzie
