I got a TENS unit about a month ago. It works GREAT on my Carpal Tunnel pain in my left wrist, but when I use it on my lower back, it causes leg cramps for hours after I stop using it.
I am using it like I was instructed--making a "box" around the problem area with the leads, but so far I really haven't experienced any relief, and the leg crams are terrible. ~X(
The other night, my leg was hurting so bad that I could not even find a comfortable position. Finally, after rolling around, a Xanax and a muscle relaxer, I got fairly comfortable. I was lying there afraid to move, just starting to doze off (|: when my husband got into bed, patted my crazy leg and said, "I love you." I could have killed him!! It took me another hour to get comfortable. :O
Please let me know any suggestions you may have. I would hate for this to be a waste of money. It was prescribed for my low back. My husband uses it for his low back and loves it. I really want to have this work for me. :S
