I am having a lower back spine surgery and I am worry about it because I am diabetic. Should I be concern? What should I know before surgery? Should I do it? Please help.


  • you will be catered for in hospital they can work wonders with diabetics and as long as you follow there instructions you should be fine..good luck

    2007 repeat laminectomy and discectomy L4/L5
    2011 ALIF {L4/L5/S1}
    2012 ? bowel problems .still under investigation
    2014 bladder operation may 19th 2014
  • i am diabetic and have had 3 lumbar spine surgeries and have never had a problem with my sugars. they will check them often. you really dont need to worry! good luck to you! :)
