Hi ,
I'm new to the forum .
I've just had a spinal decompression on 4 levels done , and a month after the operation I've developed acute sciatica in left buttock , thigh and leg .
Anyone else experienced this , and did you recover ?
Thanks in advance .

  • Saw my surgeon on the 12th of may and mentioned the pain in my leg , but all he wanted was to see my scar to see how it was healing and how my feet were functioning .
Just seen my Dr today and he says it's my femoral nerve that's giving me pain .
It's very difficult finding a position either sitting or lying that's comfortable .
I'm sorry to hear of your problems and I hope they dcrease very soon .
I'm seeing my surgeon again on the 27th May , so here's hoping !
